1. Hrithik Roshan made his acting debut in the movie Aasha released In 1980, at the age of 6.
2. In 1986 Hrithik also acted with Superstar Rajinikanth in the film Bhagwaan Dada. He credited Rajnikanth for helping him out in Dialogue Delivery.
3. He worked as an Assistant Director for his father in movies like Koyla, Karan Arjun. During his days as Assistant Director, he did all kinds of jobs like sweeping the floors, serving tea to the actors etc.
4. Hrithik Roshan suffered from a Stammering problem since his childhood, he also underwent speech therapy to overcome this problem.Later he opened an Institute which helps people to overcome this problem as early as possible.
5. Hrithik stopped smoking after reading the book “How to Stop Smoking”, and request his fans to do so.
6. He is born with 2 thumbs in his right hand. Even though he considers it as lucky, he hides it in all his movies except in Koi Mil Gaya.
7. At the age of 21, he was diagnosed with Scoliosis (abnormal lateral curvature of the spine) . Doctors told him that he will never be able to dance again but he overcame this problem and now considered as best ever dancer of Bollywood.
8. In 2000, Hrithik claims that he had received about 30,000 proposals for marriage on Valentine’s day. We can believe his claim because the popularity and fandom he received after first film was unprecedented.
9. Hrithik’s first film “Kaho Na Pyaar Hai” has won a total of 102 Awards, it also entered the Limca Book of Records for winning most number of Awards for any Bollywood film
10. Hrithik Roshan has won 136 Awards from a total of 145 Nominations. He has won 4 Filmfare Awards, 9 IIFA Awards, 6 Screen Awards, 6 Zee Cine Awards, 5 Stardust Awards.
